わくわくインターナショナルデー2025（Waku Waku International Day）

　最初に、ニュージーランド出身である外国語指導助手（ALT）のローガン先生は、ニュージーランドのマウイの神話を読み聞かせ、ケイ先生は小学校時代はどんなことをして遊んでいたのかを紹介。さらに、一般社団法人深川青年会議所（深川JC）のフィリピン出身である宮田ジャスミンさんもスピーチ。彼女の母国での生活、現在の深川での仕事、深川JCについて話してくれました。
　そして、ジャスミンさん企画のゲーム【Bring me】・【Pinoy Henyo（ピノイヘニョ）】や、昨年度に引き続きクラーク記念国際高等学校の生徒企画の【チクタクボーン】や【じゃんけん列車】で盛り上げてくれました！
　5グループに分かれてゲームの合計得点に応じて参加者全員に景品が配られ、記念撮影を行って終了。今年で解散が決定した深川JCからも参加者全員に景品が配られました。この場を借りて深川JCに深くお礼申し上げます。
　本イベントは、外国の方々も含め、参加者全員が良い経験とコミュニティネットワークを構築する絶好の機会です。次年度以降も多くの人に参加していただけることを期待しています。

  First, Logan, Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) from New Zealand (NZ), read aloud a NZ Maui myth, and Kei told us what she did for fun in elementary school. Jasmine Miyata, a Philippines from the Fukagawa Junior Chamber International(JC), also gave her speech. She talked about her life in her home country, her current work in Fukagawa, and Fukagawa JC.
 They also livened up the event with games planned by Jasmine, such as "Bring me" and "Pinoy Henyo", as well as "Tick・Tock・Bomb" and "Rock-Paper-Scissors Train", planned by students from the Clark Memorial International High School, as they did last year!
  Participants were divided into five groups and prizes were distributed to all participants based on their total score, and the event ended with a commemorative photo. Fukagawa JC, which has decided to disband this year, also handed out prizes to all participants. We would like to take this opportunity to express our deepest gratitude to Fukagawa JC.
  This event is a great opportunity for all participants, including those from overseas, to gain valuable experience and build community networks, so we hope that many people will participate in future years.

FUKAGAWA International Friendship Society

Maui myth "How Maui Fished Up The North Island" which is a creation myth of New Zealand. It is a cultural and historical story of great importance in Maori culture.
“マウイがどうやって北島を釣ったのか”NZの北島がどのようにして誕生したかを説明する創世神話。マオリ文化において非常に重要な文化的・歴史的な物語です。 Nice to meet you Jasmine Miyata works as veterinarian in the Philippines and a nurse in Japan. She is a member of Fukagawa JC and took time out of her busy schedule to participate in this event.
宮田ジャスミンさんは、フィリピンでは獣医、日本では看護師として働いています。深川JCに所属し、忙しい中、本イベントに参加してくれました。 Bring me In the "Bring me" game, participants competed by finding items in the venue.
“Bring me”ゲームで会場の中から指示されたものを探し出して競いました Rock Paper Scissors Train When the music stopped, they played rock-paper-scissors with the person closest, and get to the back of the line. everyone had experienced any generation, it seemed to be having fun.
音楽が止まったら近くの先頭の人とジャンケン。老若男女誰もがやったことがある様なゲームで、参加者全員が楽しそうでした。 From Fukagawa JC At the end, all participants received prizes based on their ranking in the game, as well as medals and presents from Fukagawa JC.
最後に参加者全員にゲームによる順位の景品の他、深川JCからもメダルとプレゼントが当たりました。

2025英語で遊ぼう（Let's Play in English）

　深川市教育委員会の外国語指導助手（ALT）をはじめとする外国の方々と一緒に、楽しく英語に触れることができる交流イベントを開催しました。
　ALTの2人の出身国であるニュージーランドの料理を参加者と一緒に作ったり、Mystery Box（箱の中身は何かな？）やニュージーランドに関するキーワードを用いた“NZ Bingo”ゲームなどを行い、今年も「英語で遊ぼう」で楽しい時間を過ごしました。

  We held an exchange event where we could have fun learning English together with foreigners, including Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs) from the Fukagawa City Board of Education.
  We cooked New Zealand cuisine, the home country of the two ALTs, together with the participants, and played "Mystery Box(What's in the box?)" and "NZ Bingo" games usuing keywords related to New Zealand.
  We had a great time playing "Let's Play in English" again this year.

FUKAGAWA International Friendship Society

Pikelets ALT from NZ taught us everything from how to make the "Pikelets" dough. We were very surprised to learn that it uses quite a bit of sugar.
ニュージーランド出身の先生(ALT)が、「パイクレット」の生地の作り方から教えてくれました。結構砂糖を使うことに驚いた～。 How to eat "Pikelets" Even though it had a lot of sugar in it, it wasn't too sweet. It was delicious with any topping, such as bacon and eggs, fresh cream, or chocolate sauce.
あんなに砂糖入れたのに甘くない。ベーコンエッグや生クリーム、チョコソースなど何でもトッピングしても美味しかった。 Mystery Box The group competed against each other on the "Mystery Box(=What's in the box?)". "Hard-skinned grapes" and "Fake Sushi made of rubber" were very difficult questions.
グループ対抗“箱の中身は何かな”。“硬い皮のブドウ”と“ゴム製のお寿司”、難問でした。。。 NZ Bingo This Bingo game uses keywords related to NZ, not numbers. We learned a lot about NZ in English.
ただの数字ではなく、ニュージーランドにちなんだキーワードによるビンゴゲーム。英語でしかもニュージーランドについて勉強になりました。 Thx At the end, we all took a photo together. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who helped, especially those at the Clark M.I. High School! See you again!
